The special appeal is that  depending on your inclination and physical condition, the tour can be combined with bus, railway, and boat excursions. Also a cable car can help you to easily ascend the mountain to Waldeck. A well-described sketch of the route helps you to stay on the right path. The Twistesee tour leads past the lake to Warburg. The Edersee Tour goes along the lake or also around it (different variations).
