Golf for everyone and natural bath in Gudensberg
Fairy-tale or legendary, the literary, musical, historical and botanical center: Gudensberg can be enjoyed as the cultural capital of Chattengau from many different perspectives.
It presents a great variety in particular for the sports fans. My tip: apart from the Golf Park Gudensberg, you must really visit the natural bath bedded into an exceptionally delightful landscape and enjoy a dive from the sandstone rocks.
Golf for everyone, that is the slogan of the Golf Park Gudensberg which was opened in the little town of Chattengau in 2006. This peaceful oasis is situated halfway between Gudensberg and Obervorschütz at the old brickworks. It offers a seven-hole course, Driving-Range, Pitch & Putt, Indoor Golf, Golf-Academy, Pro-Shop, Play-Golf, Golfer’s Bistro, event organisation and a Golf Simulator. Everyone who just feels like playing golf or wants to learn, practise and play golf, can take a club in Gudensberg without having to pay an application or club membership fee. You only pay the corresponding entrance fee and borrow the necessary equipment on the spot.
The Gudensberger Natural Bath Terrano lies in the heart of nature, surrounded by meadows, fields and the basaltic summits of the Chattengau on the outskirts of the town in the direction of Obervorschütz. It owes its name to the sunbathing lawns which offer a delightful view of the landscape. It is laid out in terraces. Moreover, “Terrano” is the name of a red grape variety, so the name reminds also of the region in which the natural bath is situated: the so-called Vineyard.
